It is with great sorrow that we mourn the passing of our beloved “Manoula” Fotini. She died peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at 8:30 p.m. at the age of 92. She is predeceased by her husband John and is survived by her daughters Anne (Panteli) and Mary (Nick). She will be deeply missed by her 5 grandchildren; Sophia (Vince), Maria (Arthur), Stephanie, Joanna, Johnny and 2 great-grandchildren; Edeline and Roen.

She was born in Piraeus, Greece. As a young woman she learned to be a professional seamstress. Garments were carefully sewn with attention to every stitch and detail. She was a perfectionist not only in her sewing, but also giving great care, attention and love to raising and looking after her family. In 1957 she immigrated to Canada, joining her husband where they settled in Galt, Ontario, and later moved to Brampton.

We extend a very special thank you to Dr. Kannan Krishnar for his care and compassion and for taking the time to make house calls, to Edward and his wonderful staff at Kingsridge Pharmacy and to Izabela, for her outstanding care and dedication since 2021.
And many thanks to the caring and dedicated nurses, PSW’s and support staff from Acclaim Health, Paramed, LHIN and Bayshore.
