It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband Florian Alexandru Nichitiu (Renel). He was born on March 18 1946 in Bucharest Romania and died on December 29 2021 Toronto Canada at 6 p.m. Beloved husband of Rodica of 34 years, father of Codrin, Antonia and Alex, grandfather of Chana Sara, Mark David and Sebastian. His heart was full of love for his family and friends.

He was a renowned scientist and travelled the world to conferences and various Nuclear Physics Institutes in Dubna Russia, Rome Italy, CERN Switzerland, and others. He made great contributions to the world of science.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on January 3 at York Funeral Centre, officiated by Reverend David Thomas.
