In memory of

Florentina Lucia de Souza

May 5, 1944 -  December 16, 2020

Florrie (née Sequeira), 76, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of the late Fred de Souza, cherished mother of Gail (Amish) and Gary (Pam) and proud grandma of Ethan, Luka, Dylan, Julia and Delilah.

She lived a life full of faith and joy. She took pride in her beautiful garden and spending time with her family and friends. She loved music, dancing and baking with her grandchildren.

She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

A. Florie;
Your kind and generous spirit will always be remembered!
Our phone calls were filled with family history and I was always amazed as to the network of people you knew.
I will miss your greeting calls and cards you always sent with such profound messages and you never missed a year!
Please give Wayne a hug for me in Heaven as well to all our family members.
Rest in Peace!

Florie was indeed a vivacious, kind and gentle person, loved by so many. A very devout person, loved her children and grandchildren and was proud of their achievements. She took great care of her late husband Fred, when he was not well and drove him to church and back so that he too did not miss his religious life. Loved her garden too.

May the Good Lord give her soul eternal rest and peace.

In deep sympathy,
Edna and Al Mathias
