It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished Matriarch and friend Florence, on April 3rd, 2024 at the amazing age of 102. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and precious memories. Her care and compassion for others have left a lasting impact on so many family and friends.

Survived by her children: Patricia (Reid Thomas), Bill, Brian, Robert (Elaine), Alan (Karen), Keith (Patti).
Grandchildren: Richard (Angela), Jeffrey (Anna), Steven (Jordyn), Ian, Shelley (Kieran), Nicole, Paul (Krystal), Erin (Wesley), Colleen (Lucas), Alex, Kyle and Joshua.
Great grandchildren: Nicholas, Christophe, Jaiden, Tobias, Taylor, Peyton, Charlie, Evan, Rainy, Perrin, and Madison.

Through the highs and lows, she stood as a strong and unwavering support system for her family. Whenever we needed a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or simply a place to call home, she was there for us. Her dedication went beyond her family as she served as a registered nurse for over 30 years, touching the lives and hearts of countless newborns and their families.

She is now reunited with her husband Bruce as well as her grandson Christopher, granddaughter Heather and her parents and siblings.

The family thanks the palliative care team as well as PSW’s for the excellent care and love she received.
