Filip Lazo Korovesi

December 30, 1946 -  February 20, 2021

Peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Trillium Health Partners Hospital in Mississauga at the age of 74. Predeaced by his loving parents, Lazo and Atina Korovesi. Beloved husband of Svetlana Korovesi. Cherished father to Robert and his wife Theresa and Michelle and her husband Saša.
Filip will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many family and friends in Canada and abroad. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Romeo. Filip was a professional soccer player and would never let a weekend go by where he missed a game on the television. He was a lover of all sports, big Raptors fan, enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors.
His career included Aviation Industry and then Electric Geared Motors Industry

Due to the current restrictions, a private family service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, 905.451.3716. Burial to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery. The family invites everyone to sign the online guest book.
