In Loving Memory of Fe Abanera Demana (March 15, 1939 to November 3, 2023)

We mournfully announce the passing of Fe Abanera Demana, 84, of Toronto, Ontario. Fe passed away on November 3, 2023.

She was born on March 15, 1939, to Demetria & Felix Demana in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines.

She is predeceased by her parents Demetria & Felix Demana, sister Virginia Antipolo, grandson Vincent Steve Villar and nephew (in-law) Urbano Ocampo. She leaves behind her siblings, Enriqueta Evangelista and Asuncion Demana; her many nieces and nephews; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a wide circle of relatives and friends who will always hold her close in their hearts.

Fe was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She left a lasting impression with her kindness, warmth, generosity, compassion, intelligence, and countless other qualities. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, making people feel loved and valued in her presence.

Fe came to Toronto in 1974.

She worked at The Toronto Star for 27 Years and retired in January of 2001.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoyed travelling the world. But above all, Fe cherished the time spent with family and friends.

Fe may be no longer with us in person, but her memory and spirit will continue to touch the lives of everyone she has met.

Fe will be forever missed and never forgotten. Rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre - 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1

Funeral services will follow after the Visitation, on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:30 am to 11:30 am with the Father Fernando Serrano officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Family Members.

Reception to Follow.
