Fazal Haffejee

January 22, 1964 - November 26, 2022

Fazal Haffejee, born January 22, 1964, passed peacefully alongside his family at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto on November 26, 2022.

He was a loving spouse to Karen Gilchrist and a cherished father to Alyssa and Talia. He will be missed dearly by Dominique Labrecque, his sister Faziela Haffejee, his brother Ebrahim Haffejee, and many other family and friends.

Fazal was an avid sailor and an outstanding member of the Toronto Police Service for the last 22 years.

His family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital and the Odette Cancer Centre for their kindness, care, and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Sunnybrook's Odette Cancer Centre.
