In memory of

Fariborz Dorafshar

March 15, 1935 -  December 24, 2024

Fariborz passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. A man of integrity and decency, Fariborz was always the first to extend a helping hand. He kept a warm heart and a positive outlook despite life’s many challenges.

Born in Iran, Fariborz immigrated to Canada in 1979, embracing a new beginning with resilience and determination. He worked tirelessly, rarely taking time for himself, yet never losing his warm sense of humor or his gentlemanly grace.

Fariborz was a cherished husband, a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Shahin, his children Amir-Reza and Maryam and her husband Dario, and his grandchildren Giacomo and Silvia, who will carry forward his memory and the values he embodied.

Fariborz’s love and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed.
