Donches, Evangelia ‘Vangy’ - Of Toronto, age 86, passed away peacefully Monday March 11, 2024 at Providence Healthcare surrounded by her immediate family.

Evangelia was born on November 20th 1937 in Skopia, Florina, Greece the daughter of the late Paul Minos and Anastasia Stamboulis-Minou. She moved to Canada where she married Steve Donches on November 25th 1956, and started their life together. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Vangy is survived by her beloved husband Steve Donches:

brother, George Minos.

She is also survived by her four children: son Larry (Cindy), daughter Sophie, daughter Mary (Chris), son Peter.

Loved by her seven grandchildren: Michael, Stephanie, Con, Greg, Chris, Zack and Mark.

Two great-granddaughters: Krystal and Alayah.

She was also predeceased in death by her sister Eleftheria Minou-Rissin (Jim), brother Dimitrious Minos (Vasa), sister-in-law Penny Mazenes.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 3 – 6 pm, at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1

Funeral service – Thursday, March 14, 2024 - Immediate family arrive for 9:30am at Pine Hills and then we will proceed to church for 11am service at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 3840 Finch Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T 3T4, officiated by Parish Priest: Rev. Fr. Evangelos Anastasiadis

INTERMENT: Pine Hills Cemetery Immediately following church service. SECTION 23.
