Eusebio Pérez, 79, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Congojas, Cienfuegos, Cuba, to Gabino Pérez, Eva Salcedo, and stepmother Yldenia Marchena. He devoted his life to faith, family, and ministry.

In 1980, Eusebio immigrated to Canada with his wife, Carmina, and their two sons, Otoniel and Abel. A pioneering pastor, he led Iglesia Evangélica Hispana in Toronto for 42 years, the first Hispanic church in Canada affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC). Under his leadership, the church became a spiritual home and family for many in the Hispanic immigrant community.

Eusebio’s influence extended beyond Toronto as a leader of the PAOC Hispanic fellowship, championing unity and intercultural collaboration across Canada and Latin America. Known for his wisdom, generosity, and tireless dedication to spreading the Gospel, his legacy continues to inspire.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carmina; sons Otoniel (Liz) and Abel (Karen); and grandchildren Kaylee, Jessy (Braydon “Marquito”), Lesly, Kaitlyn, and Jaydon. His brother Francisco “Paco” (Mery), sister Teresa (Roberto), niece Geraldine (David), grandniece Madeline, and grandnephew Josias, nephew Allinson, niece Catherine (Kevin), and grandnephew Benjamin.

A private interment for Eusebio Pérez will take place with immediate family present. Thank you for respecting our family's wishes, we deeply appreciate your prayers and support during this time.

Sending love and prayers to the Perez family.
Fondly remember Pastor Perez with his huge smile as he welcomed my brothers (Orlando and Richard) and me to his church. I spent some of the best years of my youth at the church, blessed to be surrounded by such a great youth group. But most importantly hearing the word of God preached by Pastor Eusebio and the teachings by Hna Carmina. They will always have my respect. May he be smiling from ear to ear in his new home.
God Bless and Comfort the family left behind.
With much love.
