In memory of

Eurydice Vicki Panteloucos

August 25, 1930 -  September 26, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eurydice Vicki Panteloucos on September 26, 2024, at the age of 94. Surrounded by her loving family, Eurydice passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital. She was a devoted mother to James and his wife Karen and a loving grandmother to Nicole and Georgia who both brought her great joy and happiness.

Eurydice was born on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece, and raised in Athens alongside her three brothers, Spiros, Nikos, and Anastase. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas, and her youngest brother, Anastase. Growing up during challenging times in a country still healing from the aftermath of war, she learned the values of resilience, hard work, and family—lessons she carried with her throughout her life.

In 1958, Eurydice moved to Canada to marry her true love, Nicholas. Together, they had one son, James, who brought them immense pride and joy. Their marriage was a great partnership, filled with love, respect, and understanding. They built a beautiful life in Toronto, surrounded by a wonderful circle of friends known today as the “Greek boys,” who were very much loved by Eurydice.

Eurydice worked as a receptionist and was a dedicated volunteer. She spent much of her time with the Ladies Greek Auxiliary at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and the Royal Ontario Museum, where she formed many fond memories and lasting friendships.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery and Chapel, followed by the interment and reception.

In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Sunnybrook Hospital.
