Passed away peacefully at Oshawa General Hospital on April 11, 2023 in her 90th year.

Jean was born in Itos, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1953. She was retired from Toronto Drug and Research Addiction Centre in Toronto. A passion for gardening and making her famous pita and cabbage rolls. She will be sadly missed by her children, Freda (late Terry) and Dan (Donna). Adoringly remembered by her grandchildren Teresa, Kimberly (Aaron), (late Barbara), Tonia (Collin), Carlee (Darren), Jessica and her four great-grandchildren Seth, Lola, Audrey and Finn.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Efterpi, siblings, the late Peter (late Kate), late Marika, late George (Dimitra) and John (Sheila). She had an amazing memory for remembering all the birthdates of the family and their spouses, and would recite the Chinese horoscope sign of each person when asked their birthdate.

Eugenia’s funeral will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre and Cemetery, Toronto at 9:30 a.m. on Friday April 14, 2023 – viewing will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. – burial to follow.
