A Goodbye to a Special Man

Dear Family and Friends,
With a heavy heart I’m telling you the news of Ernie Thompson passing away on April 24, 2022.
We were married 42 years when the onset of Lung And Bladder cancers were diagnosed. Unfortunately, neither of these 2 could be treated due to previous lung issues and his age of 90.
After a short stay at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Ernie was moved to Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill. Here he received the most wonderful loving professional care and compassion. Ernie was made comfortable and did not suffer. His end of life was peaceful and I am grateful.
With respect for the COVID situation, there will not be a funeral, but a private Interment. A celebration of life will be arranged for a later date.
Ernie was happy to have known all of You.
Muriel 💕

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hill House Hospice. Friends are encouraged to leave condolence messages in the 'Guestbook'. (Top Right tab)

Ernie was a special person in my life.
He was kind, caring, generous, introspective at times, appreciative of family, and very vocal about his feelings.

He was always willing to talk with me about any subject and I learned from him.

Say hello to Dad and Ray for me Ernie.
