Erna Hildebrandt

March 5, 1917 - August 19, 2017

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in her own bed as per her wish on August 19, 2017. She was a hundred years and five months old. She is predeceased by her son Uwe and grandson Kai along with her brothers and sisters. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a Great Great Grandmother. She was also an Aunt, a Great Aunt, and Great Great Aunt. Our Oma as we all referred to will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her daughter Rosemarie, daughter in law Helga, brother in law Hans. Her grand children Beatrice, Diana (Rick), Todd (Alexia), Jackie (Patrick), Caroline (Derrick), and Michael. Great Grandchildren Justin (Jenna), Kaylee, Megan, Colin, Joshua, Cassandra, Paiton, Erica, Natasha, Rachelle, and Naomi, along with great great grandson Liam. She was also a Step Great Grandmother to Samantha (Adam) and Brodie (Manya) and Step Great Great grandmother to Lyla, Jasper, and Tobius. Oma you are now Queen of the Road and you will be in our hearts forever.

Oma: It is so hard to believe that you are no longer with us. I can only hope that when you left us that everyone you wanted to see was there to greet you. Rest in peace until we see each other again. I love you and will miss you. You will be forever in my thoughts.

Oma, I love you and miss you terribly. You were always there for us and now we are so lucky to have you as our angel looking out for us from above. The gardens of heaven are so lucky to have your tender care. I will cherish your stories, your wisdom and your love forever.
Now is your time to be with the ones you have lost. Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end. Goodbyes simply mean I will miss you, until we meet again.

Family looked around heavens gardens and found an empty space
They looked down through the clouds and saw your tired face
They put their loving arms around you and lifted you to your rest.
The gardens must be beautiful now because they took the very best.

I love you and will miss you always.

Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they are from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her
And when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
