In memory of

Erna Boehm

March 22, 1939 -  November 21, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of our Mother, Oma, Omi, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt (Godmother), Mother-in-law, Friend and Sister.
She was loved very much by her Grandchildren, Tamra, Morgan and Logan. Great Grandchildren, Brayden, Kyla and Skylar. Aunt and Godmother to Andy her nephew. Sister to her brother Werner and niece and nephew, Petra and Rene who live in Germany. Mother-in-law to Greg. Her two children Vera and Roman.
Along with countless others throughout all the years of her life that loved her..........
Mom passed away suddenly and peacefully after her short stay in Hyland Crest Long Term Care, after being in both the Peterborough and Haliburton Hospitals for 4 months, hoping to recover enough to be able to go back and live in her home in Irondale, which she loved, that Dad built.
If only her heart would have been strong enough, she would still be with us fighting the fight to get home...and be with evervone she loved...

A Funeral Service will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Wednesday November 27th, 2024 at 1:00pm with Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow within Pine Hills Cemetery Section 21 lot 1722. If desired donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Now the way to you is even further away than before. It took us thirty years to see each other again and it was as if we had just said goodbye the day before. I'm glad we were able to say hello again, laugh together and hug each other.
You will always be my favorite aunt with the warmest laugh in the world.
With love to your niece Petra

You invited me to you home when I was 12 years old, knowing no one. I will always remember the warmth of you heart and the kindness.
