Eric Kou Wah Jew of Toronto Canada, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Michaels Hospital. Born in China to Thomas Chew and Wong Low Kee Jew; he lived most of his life in Ontario.

Beloved husband of Betty Sun Ngor, loving father to Kingsley (Christine), Susan (Gary), Steven (Sabine), Yanni (Rosemarie). Dear grandfather to Dorcas, Lena, Sarita, Sitara, Olivia, Elizabeth and David. Eric is survived by his brother, Philip.

Eric was a respected member of the community, and served many terms as President of the Chiu's Association. He was dedicated to supporting people, community and traditional Chinese music.
