Eric Joseph Currie, affectionately known as Pops, passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 80 in Toronto, Ontario. He was born on July 19, 1943, in Timmons, Ontario.

Eric will be deeply missed by his loving partner, Barbara Hill. He is survived by his sons, Eric Currie (Michelle) and Jason Currie (Erin). Eric also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Samantha), Jayden, Hayden, Jacob, and Joshua. In addition to his biological family, Eric had a special place in his heart for his stepsons, Michael Bracegirdle (Elizabeth) and James Bracegirdle (Nicole). He was a proud grandfather to Henry and Abigail.

Eric Joseph Currie will be remembered for his kindness, love, and dedication to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Eric's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Ontario Cancer Society in Eric's name.
