Eric Faucher

In Toronto, on Wednesday January 6, 2021, at his residence and after a lengthy and feisty battle with brain cancer; Eric passed away at the age of 50 surrounded by his loving wife and a few members of his family. He was the husband of Marie-Josée Turmel, also the son of Raymonde Labbé and Jacques Faucher. He will be dearly missed by his brother Alain (Hafissatou Coumbassa) and his in-laws, Jacques Turmel and Marthe Deblois, his sister-in-law Annie, his brother-in-law Benoît (Johanne Bernard), many nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Eric also known as “Superman” by his close relatives and friends inspired many of them throughout his life, he was a true example of courage, determination and perseverance. He truly cared for everyone he knew and went above and beyond to help them reach happiness. His love for life and his natural inclination to be young at heart were contagious and provided joy to those around him. He was able to combine his passions for golf and travel on numerous times and always proved to be an outstanding travel companion. There will be a celebration of his life at a time and place to be determined when group gatherings are allowed. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; Fund allocation: Brain Cancer Research Fund.
