Enrico and I were business colleagues at RBC for a couple of years. I remember Enrico as a person of the utmost integrity and a model of decency, civility and humility for all who had the privilege of working with him. Ariella and I will miss his gentle presence, and the many warm and engaging conversations in the stairwell of our building.

I will miss conversations with Enrico about his intellectual pursuits, and his charm and sophistication. He was a lovely, kind man. He and Ken came for dinner once, armed with small gifts for my greatnieces who were joining us for dinner. So thoughtful.

One of my closest friends, met when he arrived in Canada. The most determined person I have ever known, Never took things lightly and very much a lawyer in his approach to life. His success was due to his amazing capacity to concentrate on anything that interested him
A loyal partner to Ken

Bill Barlow (Friend & Royal Bank Colleague)

Such a tragedy to die so young and early into his retirement, he deserved much more. He always tried to take care of himself in terms of work and leisure balance including a good deal of physical exercise. I have many fond memories of working with Enrico on many major contractual agreements, he would choose words carefully and was precise and exacting in language to ensure clarity and to protect the Bank. You needed to be well prepared in detail before making a request or you would be dismissed and asked to return when you had the full story of what should happen if terms were not met. Enrico certainly helped sharpen my mind and be better prepared for discussions with him. His exacting nature taught me a lot. When complete it was a privilege to share tea and cake or cookie to celebrate the completion of a working session. I will remember Enrico fondly. Unfortunately I am not available to attend his funeral. Farewell Enrico! Bill Barlow
