Our dad was my mentor in the field of Electronics that is why I ended up picking up the vocation and became a retired Electronics Engineering Technician.
Our dad was one of the pioneer Technicians of Bolinao Broadcasting Corporation during the '50's, which now became the ABS-CBN Network in Manila , PH. He held a First Class Radiotelephone License in order to be qualified to adjust and maintain TV transmitter equipment in the very first Black & White TV station in the Philippines.
He was also a retired employee of PAEC/PARC Philippine Atomic Energy Commission/ Philippine Atomic Research Centre in Diliman, Quezon City , PH .
Came to Canada in November 1st 1986 with our mom Eduvugus Ballesta Ascano.
He was a WWII veteran . Served under the USAFFE group.
