In memory of

Emil James Morgan

March 16, 1930 -  September 14, 2022

Emil James Morgan passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 14th, 2022. “Morgan”, “Bre”, “Pappa” as he was fondly known, was born in Diamonds Village St. Vincent on March 16, 1930, to Lucy Pope. He also called Trinidad home where he spent the earlier parts of his life working as a construction worker and caring for his family. In the early 1990’s he migrated to Canada where he continued to raise and care for his family.

Emil was a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He always wore an infectious smile, had a gentle spirit, a caring attitude, and an amazing attitude and viewpoint on life. He was a God-fearing man, a ‘lover’ of music, particularly gospel and calypso, and was always dancing or encouraging others to dance and enjoy life.

“Dad” played an active role in the lives of his grandkids and treasure the time he spent with them. He was an integral part of his family and his contagious laugh, smile, and easy-going demeanour will be deeply missed

The family would like to thank the staff at West Side Long Term Care Home for the excellent care they provided to our father. May god show each of us the power of his love and comfort. Amen.
