My heart goes out to all the family and friend’s of Mr. Donnolly. Lisa, Kelly thank you so much for allowing me to visit. Know my heart aches. You were so fortune to have so many years with him and I’m sure though you will miss him dearly, you are comforted by all those memories. I only got to know Mr. Donnelly at our parish over the last 14 years and feel so blessed. He was such a determined, intellectual, thoughtful and inventive soul ( you had to laugh sometimes with the ideas of how to solve the world or your problems) 😀; what a joy to be around. Even when he was not feeling so well he found the energy to make it to church and to make you feel like you were the most important and valued person around. I will miss your welcoming smile and the way you would take my hand and place a gentle kiss on the back after our visits. I will never forget you. May you rest in peace good and faithful servant. 🙏🏽

You will be missed Elwood. I always enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table with you and a "Canadian" and a shot of the "good stuff".
Until we meet again, keep the beer cold. ❤️❤️🙏

My deepest sympathies to the Donnelly Family at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. As a friend of his beautiful daughter Lisa, I have fond memories of visits to the Donnelly home as a child. In my childhood memories, "Mr. Donnelly" was very tall and always had a smile on his face, a very calm and easy way about him and of course a great sense of humor! He will be greatly missed.

Elwood we will miss you dearly.
When we first moved in beside you over 25 years ago you were so gracious, welcoming us to the neighborhood, filling us in on the history of our house, and always being there for us without interference. We appreciated your hospitality so much!

Halloween will never be the same without having a shot of “ Irish Mist” with you on your front porch.

May you rest peacefully forever Elwood,

Love,
Greg and Sue ❤️
