We first met Elvira on a plane bound for Berlin in 1987. We were going to the same place and shared the first of many experiences. We remained friends and got together often with Elvira and our mutual friend, Alan, who we also met in Berlin in 2987. Many meals, many laughs, many discussions, and many celebrations. We will surely miss all of that with our good friend. So many good times!
