Elmer “Rob” Koppel February 05, 1935 - December 04, 2022


It is with profound grief and sadness that the family of Elmer “Rob” Koppel announce his passing on December 4, 2022 at Micheal Garron Hospital from Pneumonia.

He was predeceased by his parents Johannes & Maria Koppel and Step Father Eduard Hobe. He was survived by his sister Wilma Koppel of Sweden, predeceased by brother Askel & sister Helgi. His Nieces & Nephews Sirje Uudelepp in Estonia, Walter Nordstrom in Sweden, Lena Koppel husband Otto Runmark in Sweden, Karen Anderson in Calgary, Monica Palumbo in Belleville. His Great Nieces & Nephews Mari-Liis Uudelepp Fiancée Daniel Carew in London,Adam Nordstrom wife Elin in Sweden, Sabrina Telder husband Andreas Telder, Venessa Junga in Malta, Jacop Sundquist Koppel fiancée Karin in Sweden, Thomas Anderson in Calgary, Anthony Palumbo fiancée Sheila Golden in Utah USA. Great Great Nieces & Nephews Thomas Carew, Charles Nordstrom, Tristan & Stella Telder, Leon & Liam Koppel, Marshall & Liam Anderson & Reyden Golden.

Special thanks to his Doctors and Nurses at Michael Garron Hospital and Providence Healthcare who took care of him in his final days.

Service will be held December 17, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at York Cemetery 160 Beecroft Road. There will be no reception after the gravesite.
