In memory of

Ellen E. Coyle

April 18, 1931 -  February 15, 2020

In her 88th year, Ella peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Saturday February 15, 2020 at Michael Garron Hospital. Ella will best be remembered for being both mom and dad to her 4 children; she will fondly be remembered for her keen sense of humor in all her affairs. Ella will be sadly missed and longed for by her family Marg (Rick), Debora (Syl), Stephen (Yvonne) and Elaine (Paul). Cherished grandmother of Cindy (Terry), Nicholas (Kathy), Amanda, Jessica and great grandmother of Marcus, Phoenix, Mariah and Meah. Dearly missed by her many friends, especially Mary Sherwood and Betty Magarvy and all her kin in Ireland that loved her as if she were their own mother. Ella was a member of the Emerald Lodge and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11. We have all been truly blessed and touched by Ella Elizabeth Coyle in our lives. Visitation at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE 625 Birchmount Rd. (north of St. Clair Ave E 416-267-8229) on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow the funeral service. If desired, memorial donations in Ella’s name can be made to the Kidney Foundation.

God looked around his garden, and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

So many fond memories with Ella. Her sense of humour and her genuine love for her family is what we remember most. Always the life of the party! Earth's loss is Heaven's gain! Now reunited with Vic - her one and only true Love.

May your many happy memories help you through this difficult time! R.I.P. "Aunt Ella".

Hey Coyle

Sorry it has been awhile since we last met.

I always tell of the time we went together to get our ears pierced, me, 13 yr old next door neighbour and you, a mum of 4. You pushed me forward and told me I had to go first. I remember you and my mum watching me to see how painful it was. Were you going to back out? We will never know cause you weren't going to let this little kid be the only one walking out of the jewellers with pierced ears.

Love you!

Sending our deepest condolences to the Coyle family during this very difficult time.

Ella was such a beautiful woman, she will be greatly missed.

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
