In memory of

Ella Bell

November 19, 1929 -  December 16, 2020

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ella Sophia Thompson Bell on December 16th, 2020 in her 92nd year. After a lengthy illness, she is now free of her pain and at peace. Her three daughters at her side, gave her much comfort and support during this difficult time.

Ella was the daughter of the late Melvin and Sophia (Cryderman) Thompson. She was the youngest of nine children, Simeon, Edgar, Nellie, Ralph, Fern, Minnie, Elmer, Everett and Ella. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Stanley Bell and loving mother to Clarene Brown, (Dave), Angella Star, (John), and Marilyn Bartlett (Jim). Ella was a loving Grandmother to her six Grandchildren, Jeremi Mountjoy (Alanna), Clarene Bakker (Matthew), Reagan Brown (Bryan) Matthew Brown (Sabrina), Natalie King (Joe), and Morgan Bartlett (William). Ella loved all of her eleven Great-Grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Liam, Oliver, Beatrix, Alice, Evie, Brynn, Caleb, Hazel, and Jackson.

Ella was a loving mother who always put her children first and looked forward to spending time with her family.

She was passionate about nature and spent many hours in her gardens and outdoors. In her younger years she enjoyed horses, and shared this interest with her children.
Ella was an avid baseball fan and loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays religiously, especially if they were playing against the Yankees.
Ella loved driving, and she and her husband, Clarence, spent many years travelling across Canada, and U.S.A., spending many winters in Florida.

Ella was very talented, and enjoyed sewing, making quilts, refurbishing old furniture, and practicing her art of crafting.

Full of life she will be forever missed by her family.
