In memory of

Ella Effie Graham

November 16, 1927 -  March 28, 2025

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Ella Effie Graham on Friday, March 28.

She passed away at her Retirement Residence after a very short health setback. Family and friends had gathered throughout the week to show their love and support.

Ella was born in Bath, New Brunswick and was the last of nine children born to Lee and Caddie Thomas.

Ella is predeceased by her husband Gerald, daughter Gloria (Philbert) and son Ralph (Julie).
Survived by son Carvell (Joanne) daughters Cindee (Jim) and Wanda,
She was Nanny G to Glenn (Lynn), Tracy (Bob), Graham (Sara), Jennifer, Jessica (Pat),
Wesley, Kristopher (Jheri), Jordan (Sandra) and Brett (Tracy).
Great grandmother to Brandon, Shannon (Trevor), Connor, Joshua, Maya, Preston, Madison, Rory and Mason. Great-great grandmother to Jaxon and Gracie Ella.
She was also Nanny G to the many children that she babysat (Patrick and Lindsay to name a few)

We have quite a large extended family and every one of them was welcomed and became her own. Once you were part of the Graham family, you stayed a part of the Graham family.

Ella loved her family more than anything. She was at every recital, hockey game, graduation and wedding.

Her many hobbies were sewing, knitting and word search. Ella also loved to travel and took many trips with her travel group.

Ella became quite the bingo player at her Retirement home, and she loved to tell her family about how many games she had won that day. She made many friends in her 7 years there and will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank the many staff members that looked after our mother so well.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother, Nanny G. your Best Friend
She helped raise a neighbourhood. She taught us all so much in her 97 years on earth especially how to love with your whole heart. Ella lived life to the fullest. I have so many wonderful memories of her but my favourite memories are going to yoga class together and going to the Leaf for a beer afterword. Endless conversations and her humour, she was a true friend. She lives on in all of you so she will never be truly gone.
