In memory of

Elizabeth Ann (Liz) Johnson

July 14, 1929 -  January 14, 2023

Peacefully on January 14, 2023 at MacKenzie Health Hospital at the golden age of 93. Loving wife, best friend, and travel partner of Roy Ernest for 72 wonderful years.

Cherished Mother of Shaun (deceased), Roy David (Ilka), Dean (Karen) and Kalin (Catherine).
Caring and proud Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to Laura (Michael, Amelia & Olivia), Elizabeth, Jessica (Nathan), Rachel & Eric and Ashley (Scott, Felix & Summer) & Norm, and Haley, Kalin and Mikayla.
Greatly missed by her extended family, friends and the many others who enjoyed her spirit and enthusiasm for life.

Her greatest joys were travelling the world with her husband, and her time spent with family at the many celebrations and life’s milestones. Her most cherished memories were the years spent at the cottage on Lake Kamaniskeg, gardening in her backyard at Earl Road, sailing on Lake Ontario in the Snib, and “cookie day” with the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at MacKenzie Health Hospice and Brookside Retirement Home for their care and compassion.

Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Cemetery and Visitation Centre (625 Birchmount Road, 416-267-8229) on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm. A private family service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Internment to follow in the Spring/Summer.
