Elizabeth’s kindness left a lasting impression on anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. She had a special way of making you feel loved, appreciated, cherished and accepted. Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland in 1931, she carried the pride of her roots with her when she made Toronto her forever home in 1966. You would often find her enjoying a cup of tea with something sweet, diving into a good mystery novel or tending to her beloved garden. Her positive and optimistic attitude could bring joy to anyone’s day. A devout Catholic, Elizabeth’s faith was central to her life and guided her through every challenge that came her way. she dedicated many years of hard work at dominion stores, was a medalist in ballroom dancing and a person that you could always count on. Her radiating warmth will be missed dearly by her family and friends, who have been so lucky to have crossed paths with her in this lifetime. She will be remembered always, and her light will never fade. We love you Aunt Bett.

Info: Please wear colourful clothing as Elizabeth did not want everyone to be dressed in black. She loved anything floral printed and wanted her celebration of life to be a colourful one. In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth wished for everyone who loved her to make a donation to either World Vision or Covenant House - two of the charities she dedicated many years of consistent support to that were close to her heart. Please go to the Donation option on this site to make a contribution.
