In memory of

Elizabeth "Betty" Warner

May 23, 1927 -  October 10, 2022

WARNER, Elizabeth “Betty” (nee ELLIS) was a beloved great grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and wife during her incredible 95 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early morning of Monday October 10th 2022.

She was born May 23rd 1927 in Toronto, Ontario, to Isabelle and Larry Ellis, the oldest of their four daughters. Betty was predeceased by her loving husband Victor, and her three sisters Sophia “Faysie” Maureen, and Joanie.

Betty, Mom, Nana or Grammy, as she was known, is survived by her two sons, Kirby and Larry and their wives Kathy and Gail. She cherished her five grandchildren, Lanny, Jason (Tiffany), Jessica (Logan), Derek (Dana), Lacey (Dezmen) and her seven great grandchildren, Victor, Charlie, DJ, Austin, Connor, Sybil and Dominic.

Betty will be fondly remembered for her kind and loving nature and how she valued family above all. She had a long and full life and she will be missed dearly. We are all so grateful for the time we had to spend with her and will always feel her presence in our hearts. Now reunited with her dear Vic in eternity. Until we meet again, we love you always.

Betty made such a sweet impression. I recall her sitting at Ray's 85th celebration, and them sharing "Toronto" stories from their shared era. She showed such courage and tenacity in recent years, and despite her health challenges, always had a gentle and welcoming demeanor with us. Out condolences to the entire family...
