Passed suddenly on Sunday April 29, 2018, (one day before her 89th birthday), with family by her side, was taken into the arms of Jesus and reunited with her husband, Ernie Rowland (2000). Predeceased by her parents, Clarence & Permillia Fralick, brothers, Maurice, Cecil and Raymond, and sisters Inez & Lillian. Loving mother of Jennifer & Robert Black of Hillsburgh, Mark & Eileen Rowland of Scugog, Pamela & Michael Taylor of Oshawa, and Terry & Debbie Rowland of Scugog. Cherished grandmother of Leslie (Robert), Julianne (Brian), Ryan (Elaine), Jamie (Cherron), Steven (Angela), Bradley (Liz), Marci, Dayna (Gordie), Bryan (Alison), & Michael (Leigh). A very proud G.G. Beth of twenty great grandchildren. Beth was also dearly loved by her surviving brothers and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
For Beth family always came first, she loved to laugh and have great debates about the Liberals versus the Conservatives. She was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge.
Visitation and will be held at Thornton Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, Ontario (905-579-6787) on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm and on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 12 – 1 pm with the funeral service beginning at 1 pm in the chapel. Interment to take place immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Beth may be made to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
