In memory of

Elizabeth Ann Dow

July 7, 1939 -  July 9, 2023

The family is saddened to announce that after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, Ann passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Sunday, July 9th, 2023. She was 84 years old. Ann was predeceased by Russell, her loving husband of 57 years. She is survived by her three children, Russ (Wendy), Rob (Christine), and Rick (Sandra), as well as her sister and lifelong best friend, Shirley Kerr. Ann was loving Gramma to Ryan (Kim), Corrin, Ashley (Phil), Michael, and Erin; cherished Great Gramma to Mason, Kaia, Maelle, and Layla.
Ann and Russell raised their children in Scarborough, and then retired to Napanee, Ontario the summer of 1993. In their retirement years they enjoyed numerous memorable road trips throughout North America.

Ann will forever be remembered as a social butterfly. She was a devoted hockey mom to her three sons, an avid bowler, swimming enthusiast, volleyball player, and often the craftiest person in the room.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Bay Ridges LTC staff for their kind and compassionate care of Ann.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday July 30th, 2023, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Bollocks Pub & Kitchen, 736 Kingston Rd., Pickering, ON L1V 1A8.

In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in her memory.
