In memory of

Elizabeth Allison

November 16, 1936 -  March 24, 2021

Allison, Elizabeth (Betty)
With tremendous sorrow we announce the passing of Betty at the age of 84 after living with lung and heart conditions for 4 years. She passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 with her daughters beside her. Predeceased by her husband Tom of 53 1/2 years. Loving Mum to Elaine (Rob), June and Sharon, much loved Grandma to Alex. Predeceased by her brothers Robert, Bill, John and Tom. Will be missed by her nieces and nephews (Canada, Scotland, England, Australia), friends and neighbours. Betty was born in Edinburgh Scotland, came to Canada in 1958 and met Tom who had come from Glasgow Scotland. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, friendship and optimism. Celebration of life to take place at a later date. Donations to Operation Smile or Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.

Betty was such a lovely person, always happy and smiling. I'm so glad she was able to make her bucket list trip to Paris a few years ago. It was a comfort to her on her birthday that she packed quite a crowd for the covid-safe celebration. She surely wanted out of that porch, but it was most important that you kept her safe. She will be dearly missed by all 3 daughters who comforted her and took great care of her during her illness. Cherish the beautiful memories of your loving Mother. She lives on, in her daughters and grandson. She taught you well. Rest in peace Betty.
