March 8, 1944 -  July 16, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elisabeth Sugnjetic on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, aged 80. Loving wife of Josip Sugnjetic. Cherished mother of Maria, and Elizabeth and her husband Peter. Much loved grandmother (Mamma) of Cassandra (Carmen) and Amanda (Domenic) and great grandmother (Bubby) to Alia.

Family and friends will be received at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on Tuesday, July 23, from 12 pm - 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, with burial and reception to follow.

Flowers can be ordered from Irene's Flora 905-553-1530; or memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or Canadian Diabetes Association. Go to "Donations", select "Make a Donation", follow the link to the charity of your choice.

Where do I start. Mama was a beautiful kindhearted soul who loved everyone. She never left the room or hanged up the phone till she told us she loved us as she would say "MAMA LOVE YOU ". She never forgot to wish us a happy birthday, I'm going to miss those 8 am calls where she sang happy birthday to the end. She was a classic there will never be anyone who would replace Mama.
Mama I know God has other plans for you.We will always carry you in our hearts and always live in our memorable stories you left for us♥️ sending the family love and strength during these times

Keresztpapi, Maria, Liz and family, my heart goes out to you all at this very difficult time. Sincere condolences.
I hope you can find some peace in that she no longer has to endure any worldly pain and suffering.

It will be a very difficult journey as you all grieve this huge loss in your family, but together, supporting each other, loving each other, you can get through it.
Remember all the good times with her and hold them close, they will truly comfort you and fill your hearts.
