It is with great sadness that the Goschy family announces the passing of Elisabeth Goschy on December 10th, 2016. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nikolaus Goschy (1992), and was a loving mother to Nick (Anna) and Hannelore. Cherished grandma to Dana, Emily, Lauren and Michelle. Elisabeth and Nikolaus emigrated from a small village in Romania to the big city in Canada in 1961 to make a new life for their children. Elisabeth spent a lifetime devoted to her family. Always wearing an apron, she was most often in the kitchen cooking something delicious or baking sweets from her very worn book of handwritten family recipes. She spent many summertime hours tending to her garden of flowers and vegetables, roses and tomatoes in particular.

A Funeral Service will be held at the York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York on Thursday, December 15th at 11:00 am, followed by a reception. A private burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
