It is with great sadness and hearts filled with sorrow that we announce the passing of Elisabeth (Elsbeth/Liesel)) Christa Volino (nee Buck) at Etobicoke General Hospital on June 23, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Cherished mother of Tim, Paul and Cornelia, loving grandmother (Oma) of Ryan, Tyler and Christopher, great-grandmother of Violet Isabella and Austin James, beloved sister of Irma Fahrni and Erwin Buck and long-time close friend of Roswitha Scheibner. Born in Freiburg, Germany, Elisabeth moved to Toronto, Canada with her family in 1954. Elisabeth was a food and beverage professional, known for her vitality, professionalism, passion for life and thoughtfulness. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, gardening, singing and her cats. Elisabeth will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends forever more.
