We are very sad to announce that our dear Elias passed away at home at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of his late wife Evdokia, loving father of Eleftheria (Mike), and Helen (Tim), and adoring dedo of grand children Soula (Tom), Steven, Alexander, and Nicholas and great-grandchildren Nicole and Christina. He will also be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends in Canada as well as Greece, Australia, and the United States.

Elias was born in the village of Skopia in Greece, immigrated to Toronto in 1966 and brought his family over 1973. He was the son of Pavlos and Paschalini and the younger brother of the late Nicholas. Elias was a kind soul with a gentle disposition, who loved his family and supported them. He was a farmer, gardener, and a cook and had a great work ethic.

We will miss him very much, and we will remember him every time we do gardening, or cut a tomato from the vine, for that was his favorite pastime.

Heartfelt thanks go to all the relatives, friends, and neighbors who supported him.

May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal.

A visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment at York Cemetery.
