On the eve of her 93rd birthday, Elaine JOY Trestrail (née Mott-Trille), born in Manchester, Jamaica passed away at home in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with her family at her side.

A beauty queen, tennis champion, and talented pianist and artist, Joy was also a respected and successful business manager in Jamaica before joining her children In Canada.

Joy was the daughter of Violet May (née Coke) and Radley Mott-Trille. Joy, beautiful mother of Valerie Trestrail-Poole (Mark) and the late Stephen Trestrail (Viviene), is survived by her daughter Valerie and her two children Benjamin and Joshua; and by Stephen’s children: Maria (Jeremy), Mishael (Meghan), Naomi and Christopher (Neyla). Joy is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren: Vale, Sierra, Denver, River, Max and Jax.

In accordance with Joy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
