Egbert Lashley passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 13, 2023 in Scarborough, Ontario.

Knowing Egbert E. Lashley was indeed a pleasant child of God who was always open to christian debates in his lifes' journey as a brother in Christ. His journey into our Catholic family I have no doubt was a sign acknowledging the respect to the apostolate sucession of our Christian community. Throughout the centuries believers encountered theological differences but in the end unity in and with Christ is a victory we celebrate. Therefore, one is assured Egbert's absent from the body to be present with the Lord is factor we behold as Jesus said it very clearly "today you shall be with me in paradise". Amen, amen i say to all. Let it be so. Thank you God for the gift he has been to all.
