Dear Louis and Litsa ...I wish there were some magic words I could offer to ease your pain but unfortunately that is not how it works. I did want you both to know that I truly loved your parents. I spent enough time at Westmount and later Mackie that they honestly were like my backup mom and dad. I can't believe its coming up on 16 years for your Mom and now suddenly your Dad is gone too. Whereby I haven't seen either of you in a very long time I would occasionally run into your Dad at a Greek function or surprisingly enough at Centrepoint Mall. He always greeted me with a super friendly handshake and that trademark smile of his. He was a wonderful man and I know he was deeply proud of both of you. I sincerely hope he didn't suffer for an extended period of time.

My sincere and hearfelt condolences to both of you and of course to the rest of the immediate family as well.

As we get older (I'll be 57 in October) you tend to look back upon your days and revel in the nostalgia. When I allow myself to play that game I invariably recall the years we all spent together as the best times of my life. You and Louis were a big part of that but so were your Mum and Dad. May they RIP forever more. 💔💔
