In memory of

Edward Massa Diogo

January 7, 1959 -  May 28, 2021

On May 28, 2021, Edward peacefully passed away at home at the age of 62, surrounded by his loving family after the bravest and toughest 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and devoted wife, Maria. Through 38 years of marriage, Edward and Maria raised a beautiful family that includes their children Jennifer (Tony), Stephanie (Claudio) and Jacquelyn (Bobby). Edward was a much loved 'Vo’ to his 4 grandchildren, Alessandro, Melina, Juliana and Alessia. He is reunited with his parents, Eduardo and Gilberta, two of his most favourite people ever! He was a cherished big brother to Manuel. Edward leaves behind many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and all of their families. In addition to his family, Edward will be missed by his many loving and loyal friends.

Edward took on this disease with bravery, strength and grace. He found joy and comfort in being surrounded by his family and friends, all the while, never giving up hope.

A huge void has been left in our lives without him. In honour of his memory, we have decided as a family to raise funds for pancreatic cancer, with the hope that another family won’t have to experience the same devastating loss we did.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada at http://donate.pancreaticcancercanada.ca/site/TR/Events/General?px=1185570&pg=personal&fr_id=1461
