I met Ed at a PEO event in 2005 after relating to Ontario, and he inspired me to get involved and volunteer for the chapter. As a result, I met many engineers and made many friends. We have planned to get together with a group of past chairs at the PEO York Chapter for lunch at the end of this December. But sadly, he will not be able to join us. It was shocking to learn of his passing away. He will be deeply missed. I cherish the friendship and the advice he offered me over the years. Rest in peace, my friend.

Edward and I are more than just friends. We went to the same high school and studied in the same faculty in university. We are fellow engineers in the same professional societies. We have known each other for over half a century. He will be greatly missed. Good bye my friend.

Our deepest sympathies are with Holly, Alan, and Elyse at this sad time. We rejoiced with Edward and Holly when Elyse and Alan were married. We are thankful for the love and guidance Edward gave to the young couple.
Sincerely, Igal and Shannon Hauer
