In memory of

Edmund Erdmanis

June 21, 1955 -  October 26, 2016

With profound grief, we announce the untimely passing of our husband and father Ed Erdmanis, taken away from us by the ravages of ALS. Ed ended his suffering at 6:28 am on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016, in the arms of his wife. Ed leaves behind his wife Zinta, daughter Ava, sister Rita, brother-in-law Kevin, sister-in-law Zaiga, neices Katherine and Emma and nephew David. No words or cliches will come close to describing the man that Ed was. Those who know him, know this to be true. He was truly a fine man.

Visitation is on Monday, October 31st from 11 am to 1 pm followed by the funeral service at York Cemetery 160 Beecroft Road, North York.

Donations in memory of Ed can be made to the ALS Society of Canada. Please leave a memory or condolence at www.mountpleasantgroup.com

May fond memories of Eddy bring both you and Ava comfort during this extremely difficult time.
Look back on all the great memories you were able to create and we know Ed will be looking down and smiling with love for you both.

To the whole family , we send our heartfelt condolences with Ed's passing. We will miss our chats and time together as he walked through the neighbourhood with Zinta, Ava, Jack and Mickey. Always helpful, always kind....now resting in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Zinta. Nothing prepares us for such. We have not seen one another for years but I do recall our adventures in Lielgaidas. I think of you and your family at this time. Vieglas smiltas Edmundam.

Dear Zinta, Ava, Rita, Kevin, Rich Elbertha, Monica, Atis and Families,
Our hearts are with you as you attempt to cope with such a monumental loss.
Edmund was a truly gentle soul and his warmth and easy going manner will be dearly missed. Take care of each other, remember the great times at the cottage and and try to smile your beautiful smiles which brought him such joy.
Affectionately,
Liz and Ed
