Edith Parakovits

May 14, 1926 - February 28, 2024

Edith Parakovits nee Laskus was born in Sarkau East Prussia Germany on May 14, 1926 and passed peacefully on February 28, 2024 at 97 years old. She became a nurse in Germany after WWII and she emmigrated to Montreal Canada in 1954. She married Ferenc Parakovits in October 1959 (pass in 2010) and was married for 51 years. She is survived by her 2 children Karin Modotto and Laszlo Parakovits, their partners Walter Modotto and Sunny Sun as well as her 2 grandchildren Christopher Modotto and Arthur Parakovits and their partners Rebekah Goodsell and Mackenzie Campbell.

After the Inurnement, please join us for some refreshments in a reception room in the Funeral Centre
