Edith Joy Langdon

Edith Passed away on December 30, 2018 in her 86th year.

She was the daughter of James Bronson and Isabel Stringer, beloved wife of the late James Langdon, and loving mother of Mark (Sarah). Dear sister of Alan, Billy and Jimmy Bronson, Mildred Caverly, Ramona Hawley, Thelma Peck and Effie Martin.

Graduate of Bancroft (North Hastings) High School, and the Peterborough Normal School (Teacher’s College).

Edith was a retired elementary school teacher, who taught at several schools in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

Special thanks to the management and staff at Vermont Square and the doctors and nurses at Mount Sinai Hospital and the University Health Network (Toronto) for their kind care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sinai Health Foundation or the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Sending sincere condolences to Edith's family. I have very fond memories of Edith when we grew up, high school, living at the Peterborough YWCA, when she married the love of her life, Jim, and her young family. She is at peace.
