It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Pauline Durda on October 17, 2024 at Weston Terrace Home, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Henry Durda, parents Walter and Margaret(Zwarych) Shuya and sisters Helen, Florence, Mary, Irene and brother Bill. Cherished mother of Michael Durda, Paul Durda and Stephen Durda, grandmother to Christina Jordan and Great grandmother to Jacob and Carrie Jordan. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her surviving sister Edna Ledger and brother John Shuya. Pauline loved music and dancing, especially taking over the dance floor with her husband Henry mastering the Polka. She was an avid walker, never wanting to sit and rest. Pauline and Henry also fulfilled their dream of living in the "warm" climate - Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 12 years before returning home to be near extended Family.
Family and friends will be received for visitation and a memorial gathering at Pine Hills Funeral Centre at 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Saturday, November16 from 1pm to 2pm, Service at 2pm followed by a reception at 3:30pm. ”
