It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Roger on Sunday May 29th, 2022. Uncle Roger will be dearly missed by Sandra, Michael and Karen and phone buddy Ann McCleary (sister in law). Great Uncle to Jesse and Joran Johannessen and Rozlyn Frizzle and Great Great Uncle to Lincoln Johannessen and Hunter Frizzle. Cherished friend to Marilyn and Nancy. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winnifred and siblings June, Ken, Ron and George.
After travelling to England and Egypt he acquired a PHD in Ancient Art History graduating from Cambridge University. In recent years he was a professor of history at the University of Toronto.
