My sincere condolences to Aunt Toni, Mark, and Mary. My family and I spent many wonderful Boxing Day dinners at the Silcox house over the years. It was always a place filled with warmth and laughter. Uncle Peter was a great storyteller and a lovely man. He will be truly missed. I’m blessed to have known him.

Peter was my colleague at U of T from 1970 until his retirement. He was a fine teacher and a consummate administrator. Peter always solved the 'big' problems that made life easier for his colleagues. I shall remember him as a trusted mentor and a generous friend.
