Dr. Ganraj Kumar died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 23, 2026 at the age of 91. He is dearly loved by his wife Diawantee Kumar . Cherished by his dear children Vikram, Reshma, Vikaash and Kamlini (departed).

Loving Grandfather to Kadan, Vijay, Janvi, Arianna, Jai, Rohan and Krish. Brother to Dharampal Kumar, Gautam Kumar, the late Nirbal Kumar and Lillawatee RajCoomar.

The visitation will take place at the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East (905-737-1720) on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 between the hours of 5 - 9pm. The Funeral service and Cremation will be held on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 during the hours of 1 - 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those wishing to do so may make a donation to a Food Bank in your community.

We will miss Puran very much. We are thankful that he was a part of our family. We always look forward to seeing him and having a good time whenever he invited us to his home or events. He has left his mark on all of us at Toronto Arya Samaj.
My parents, Mr and Mrs Jeet Jaglal had a very cordial relationship with DrJi.
He visited my parents a number of times when they were ill.
We hope you all will gain strength from each other to get thru this pain of such deep loss.
