My mom and I found out today that Ted passed away on Tuesday. We are so sorry to hear this. He was always smiling and interested in chatting with me when I would see him at my parents parties. Much Love Katie
Dear Bill and Anne, our sincere condolences, on the passing of your father/father in law. What an amazing life-- Our resumés are indeed very brief by comparison!
Our thoughts are with you. Wishing you all the best.
Sincerely,
Bernie and Jo
For my dear friend Joan, my grief for you is great. Only time mends that big hole in the heart. I know. With love, Lou
I was a pharmacist at Sunnybrook for 44 yrs and knew Ted from my earlier association with the endocrine service there. I always enjoyed my interactions with him, either one-on-one or as part of a group. From my first encounter with him, he always treated me as a fellow health professional who had something to contribute to the discussion, whether it be a single patient or clinical topic. He always seemed to have a great disposition and a great laugh. I was always impressed with his thirst for new knowledge and noticed he was always writing notes at Grand Rounds on things he wanted to remember, just like I did. I have noticed his absence from those rounds over the last several years and have been enquiring about his well-being from those endocrinologist who would still remember him.
My sincere condoleneses on the passing of a wonderful human being and , I am sure, husband/father/grandfather.
Dear Joan:
I was most saddened to read Ted's obit in the paper today. He was a cheerful and very enjoyable and entertaining companion at those Club Christmas luncheons. He will be much missed by all of us who knew him. Most sincere condolences to you and he family.
